The group's principal activities are organized into four groups: commercial group, residential group, land development group and lumber trading group. The commercial group owns, develops, acquires and operates regional malls, specialty/urban retail centers, office buildings, hotels and mixed-use projects. The residential group owns, develops, acquires, leases and manages residential rental properties. The land development group acquires and sells land and developed lots to residential, commercial and industrial customers. In addition, it owns and develops land into master-planned communities and mixed-use projects. The lumber trading group sells lumber in all 50 states and Canadian provinces. The group's markets include Boston, denver, los angeles, New York, philadelphia, richmond, san francisco and Washington.
